This year again, the annual Pumping Legs for Water mountain bike race took place, at the Hwange National Park, in Zimbabwe, for its 11th edition. It ran over the course of the 26th to the 28th of July, with more than 140 riders taking part in the event.

The race is a fundraiser aiming at maintaining and supporting vital water supplies via boreholes to the Hwange National Park wildlife.

These boreholes help the local wildlife quench their thirst during the warm seasons by assuring a constant fresh water supply, via the usage of solar-powered pumps installed in the National park. This keeps the wildlife from migrating outside of this safe area, where poachers would lure and prey on the animals.

It is with pride that Sineria sponsored the event this year once more, with a donation, helping to maintain and further develop this positive initiative.
